Following close on the heels of the Typhoon wheels up landing, a Tornado F3 has landed with its nosewheel still retracted whilst on Exercise at Rissala in Finland.

There is relatively minor damage to the radome. The aircraft will be repaired on site by RAF technicians, which may take up to a month before it is flown home.
The Adex exercise will continue in Finland throughout next week.
It involves a total of about 1,300 people and 50 aircraft at the Rissala and Pirkkala bases.
In addition to Finland and Britain, countries taking part include Denmark, Germany, and France.

ADEX er ikke en NATO øvelse, men en lokal finsk øvelse. Den afholdes normalt en gang om året, og Ilmavoimat har de seneste år inviteret andre nationer til at deltage. Svenske Gripen har også deltaget i ADEX nogle år tilbage.
